Bells For Sale

Generally, all of my Zen style bells are made to order; however, from time to time, I do post some here on my website for immediate sale.

Because of the extensive time it takes to make these traditional Japanese bells they are made in small batches. You will either need to just keep checking back or contact me to see when I may have some coming available. Once posted these bells do not last very long. Each of these bells are one of a kind as I design, and hand cast each one of these bells myself.

If you see something on the page that you really like or have an idea of your own, please feel free to contact me and I would be happy to work with you to create something special for you.

This wind chime, traditionally know as a Furin in Japanese and has been hand cast in pewter. The design is that of the Bonsho, which are be found in temples all over Japan. It is approximately 3" to the top of hanging ring and just over 2" in diameter. The air catcher is 6.5" long. The bell pictured is not the one that you will receive as each one of these bells are hand cast however, it is nearly identical to the ones pictured.  I can send pics if requested.

This would be a nice addition to any garden or placed under the eve of the porch. The sound is very peaceful and calming as it rings in the breeze. It is even said that the sound helps to cool the listener on a hot summer day as it signals the arrival of a breeze.

Zen bell with Traditional style Tsuki-za
250.00+Shipping
Posted 12-1-22

I'm Happy to offer this new more traditional Zen bell design. It is approximately 10” tall to the top of the Ryuzu (hanging ring). It weighs approximately 10 pounds and is 6 3/4” in diameter. It is finished in a natural rust which gives it a dark brown aged look. What makes this bell different is that it has a traditional Japanese Tsuki-za (striking point) which has been cast in brass that has been added to both sides of the bell lining up with the Ryuzu (hanger). It also comes with a wooden striker that has been burned in the traditional Japanese way of Yakisugi. It measures approximately 9 ½” long and 4 3/4” wide.  This is the first one of this design that I have made.
