This wind chime, traditionally know as a Furin in Japanese has been hand cast in pewter. The design is that of a paper lantern, which are be found all over Japan. It is approximately 3" to the top and just over 2" in diameter. The air catcher is 6.5" long.


This would be a nice gift for someone as it has the kanji for "Friendship" made into the side of the bell. Hanging out of the weather in any garden or placed under the eve of the porch. The sound is very peaceful and calming as it rings in the breeze. It is even said that the sound helps to cool the listener on a hot summer day as it signals the arrival of a breeze.
